Pumpkin Crunch Cake

I joined another recipe swap through SCS. This swap is being hosted by Terry, aka sweetestollady. This swap is titled A Year Full of Holidays. I chose the month of October: Something with Pumpkin. Once the swap is completed each participating person will receive a total of 12 6"x6" cards/recipes for each month (with a different theme) to turn into a book.
I opted not to make it Halloweeny...I hope it's okay with the other swappers!!!
I used my oval punch to make the pumpkin, and a clear pumpkin stamp for the vines and top of pumpkin.

Swap Bookmarks

I am participating in a bookmark swap through SCS hosted by Taclary.
I signed up for 3 spots (6 bookmarks per set).
The first set was in navy blue using one of my favorite stamps of a hummingbird.

The second set I wanted to make something patriotic, since I didn't get a chance to make my 4th of July cards.

For the third set I used Cuttlebug's owl embossing folder that was a gift from my SCS DSS Brenda aka goodnuf. Thank you Big Sis!

I can't wait to see what the other ladies create. I know several friends that are avid readers and will really appreciate having one.

Party Recipe Swap

I'm back from a 2 week vacation in Minneapolis! Hubby and I had a great time. The weather was perfect and there's always so much to do and enjoy!

I want to share with you two recipes I shared with a recipe swap through SplitCoastStampers. I chose finger foods/appetizers.

Pastry-Wrapped Cranberry Brie
I made this appetizer for a get-together and it was a big hit! It was so easy to make.

Olive-Cheese Balls
Linda, great friend & neighbor, shared this recipe. She made it for one of our Friday's get-togethers. They're a cinch to make and are so delicious! You can even make them ahead of time and keep them in the freezer.

These are the recipes I received and can't wait to try them. The ladies did a great job!
