Slowly but surely, I have been organizing and clearing space throughout the house.
I love having everything tidy and neat in my drawers...no chaos please!
After a year and a half of retirement, I feel like I have my life together, and I'm really enjoying being a housewife...now my full-time career!!!
This linen drawer did not look like this before. It was stuffed with tablecloths totally disorganized.
I took out all of my cloth napkins from different drawers and cupboards, and folded them neatly.
Some had to be ironed.
I lined the drawer with pretty wallpaper (did not glue/paste it to drawer).
I find wallpaper rolls at estate/garage sales and use it for wrapping gifts, boxes that need to be mailed out, and now for lining up drawers.
I was inspired by Marty from A Stroll Life, napkin organization. Her suggestion is to stand the napkins on end, in order to see all the different colors and patterns, and can be easily counted to know how many you have on hand.
I just love how neat this drawer is now!!!

I participated in Sarah's from Hope in Every Season Spring Spoolie Swap 2014.
It's amazing what you can create using a small wooden spool!
This is the second spoolie I have created.
You can see my first one here.
The theme for this spoolie swap was spring.
I made this spoolie for my partner Audra from Simply Audra Marie.
I hope Audra is happy with her spring spoolie.

Tulips are one of my most favorite flowers in the world.
One of my childhood memories was learning to draw a tulip. I don't know why that stays in my mind. Later on when I learned where tulips came from, I promised myself that Holland would be a place I would definitely have to visit.
So far, Holland's tulip fields are on my Bucket List.
These yellow bright tulips make me feel alive and happy!
That is the power of fresh cut flowers.
I am joining Fresh Cut Friday at Liz's Rose Vignettes. Please stop by to see her beautiful daisies and other bloggers' fresh cuts.

I had a wonderful time participating in Sarah's from Hope in Every Season Spring Spoolie Swap 2014.
I received this adorable pink bunny spoolie from Sarah.
...and wouldn't you know it! He was caught in the vegetable garden tasting some sweet carrots!
Along with the spoolie, Sarah included some extra goodies!
I placed the pink bunny in my Easter vignette on the dining room buffet hutch.
Sarah knows I like crochet doilies and included one with pink flowers.
Sarah also sent me a monogrammed hankie and an Easter card!
Thank you Sarah!
I am so happy I joined this fun swap party.
Here's a sneak peak at the spoolie I made for my partner Audra from Simply Audra Marie.
