Feeling Blue

One of my favorite colors is blue.  It makes me feel so calm and relax.

I had borrowed this stamp from a friend of mine and had not had the opportunity to use it until now.  I thought it would be great to ink it in blue.   The truck reminds me of my Dad.
I made the card for CAS's challenge the Great Outdoors: CAS108

I want to share with you a little corner of blue in my world.  The table is actually from an old sewing machine which I turned into a night stand, and it had the right height to match our bed.  The plate is actually Japanese.  I bought it from a couple who had lived in Japan for several years.

Now that I'm looking at this pic, I notice that this corner needs a picture or frame on the wall so it doesn't look bare...what do you think?

Do you have a picture over the bed? I would probably hang something there...because I have to have full walls. But your blue items are very pretty!!

Hi Oliva, I love your blue and white china! I collect it too. My kitchen is butter cream yellow and I have blue and white china in an old maple cabinet. I also have a picture of pale yellow roses in a blue and white vase. I don't know if you have a Hobby Lobby store near you, but they often have beautiful pieces of blue and white china on sale 40% off. I just got a very nice little ginger jar for my living room table. I think a picture on your bedroom wall would be very pretty perhaps with a blue mat. Or maybe a couple of small throw pillows on the bed that are made of blue and white toile material. You have a lovely room. Have a nice day! Delisa :)

What a lovely vignette! I adore blue too!

Have a wonderful Fat Tuesday!
Your blue & white pieces are so pretty. I was also wondering if you have something over your headboard & if you have a table on the other side of the bed? Once you have a piece of art over the bed, you can do some smaller coordinating (not matching) prints on either side of the bed.
