Wishing for Spring

I made this card for Monday's Splitcoaststampers's challenge, CAS54, Wishing for Spring, and combined it with Clean & Simple's FTL 78 sketch. Believe it or not I started this card last Monday, but didn't get to finish it until this morning. I thought I had finally recovered from this nasty allergy and drainage...but no...!!!

My northern friends are dying for winter to end...I on the other hand...I am not...just knowing what's coming our way - - hot hot summer weather! I'm trying to enjoy every second of our so called winter! LOL!

Butterflies remind me of spring. I color the stamped image with watercolor pencils. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder border for the edge of the card. I sanded the embossed flowers to make the embossed flowers show.
