When I think of Christmas, I think poinsettias and at this time of the year you see them everywhere! What's so interesting to me is that in the last several years different kinds of poinsettias have been introduced. For example, couple of years ago, there was one that came out and it look just like a rose or peony. Now for the first time I have seen the following poinsettia...

Over 20 years ago, my Hubby and I visited Guadalajara (Mexico)during the month of July, and it seemed that just about every one's gardens had poinsettias. I thought that it was the most beautiful sight I've ever seen. |

I actually like the Spanish name for this flower: Flor de Noche Buena (Christmas Eve flower or Holy Night flower). |
