White Poinsettia

No...it is not Christmas yet!
For Christmas Hubby came home with two Poinsettias; and I can't believe the white one is still thriving!
The red one not so much, but it's shooting new leaves, after I almost killed it by over watering.
I learned that these flowering plants like to be moist enough to thrive.  Mom will be taking care of it over the summer while we're away.  I've never owned a Poinsettia that survives our AZ summers, but I'm hoping this one will.

  1. You done good. Mine never make it past the holidays. A friend in Louisiana had them planted in the ground as huge ornamental bushes on each side of her entryway. I never knew they grew that big or that well year round.

  3. I'd love to have a white one. Confession time - I toss the red ones.

  4. Wow that is great, my red one also died a couple weeks ago, I had to get rid of it any how, our cat grandbaby is coming to live with us and she likes to eat plants so that would have been a little dangerous anyway
