Cherish

I am feeling a little more confident with card making and venturing out of my comfort zone. First, I am trying different size cards. I would only make the basic 51/2"x41/4" size card. Now I am making 5"x5" cards, thanks to my DSS Big Sis" Peanut! I am trying out new challenges outside SCS. This past week I've worked on doing several challenges not only from SCS, but I've tried new ones for the very first time. For this card I used Jen del Muro's sketch challenge SFYTT, Verve's October Project Parade-Day 1 VVPP07, embossing. For SCS I did challenge LSC190, using blue in my card. I sponged SU Bliss Blue for the sky.

Another challenge that I set for myself, was to use most of my DSS Secret Sister's package she mailed me with tons of goodies. The only items I used from my own stash are: DP, the Cherish sticker/charm, and the CS for the card. I used my Big Sister's CB embossed background, stamped image, ribbon, brads, Jolee's stickers, and Stickles.
