Happy Birthday Eileen

I made this card for Eileen, one of my co-workers. I always wanted to make a black & white card, and this was the perfect opportunity, since Eileen loves to wear black & white! Rarely does she wear anything with some color, and when she does, we notice right away!

Iused this week's Splitcoasters sketch challenge SC263 & Ways to Use it WT253. The challenge for Ways to Use It is to have a bird or birds in your creation. As I was going through my birthday stamp sets I found Love Ya Bunches by Stampin' Up!
Perfect! I'm pretty sure Eileen will love her birthday card!

You always do such a beautiful job on all of your cards. They are really works of art. Thanks also for stopping by and always leaving such wonderful comments. You asked about the dark paste wax. I buy it at Razmataz. They have it in several different shades and I always buy the darkest one I can find with no red in it. It works wonders on all kinds of wood. You have to be careful how you put it on. Be sure to practice on the inside of a door and go with the grain of the wood. You can't let it dry too long or it might streak. Once you get the knack of how to use it, what a wonder it is. Hope you give it a try. Hugs, Marty
Now this is just precious!

Hi Oliva,
Your cards are absolutely beautiful! You obviously bring a high level of artistry to this creative endeavor. I've seen this done (several years ago) on HGTV, but the results weren't as lovely as yours.

Hope your weekend goes well.

Bill
