Pink Saturday
I have been on a crochet marathon lately. I guess because I don't have any of my stamping/art supplies here in MN, I have turned to crochet and knitting. I am currently working, that is between 2-3 other on going projects, on an all pink afghan.
Being that it is a cloudy cool day with a chance of rain, I decided to make myself comfy and crochet my day away.
Dried hydrangeas in a pink vase.
I enjoyed drinking several cups of good hot coffee.
This is one 6" x 6 " granny square of more to come. It's called Fill'r Up Afghan filler block.
My plan is to make the afghan up with a variety of granny square patterns in all shades of complimenting pink colors.
The old fashioned timeless granny square.
I found this rectangular dish at a local estate sale and fell in love with it. It's so delicate.
I decided to use it as a crochet hook holder/rest.
I wish I knew it's true purpose. Do you?
This morning, I decided to drink coffee out of an actual coffee cup and
saucer.
I think coffee tastes so much better and enjoyable, too.
Maybe, I can do this again tomorrow...
Just a Gentle Reminder:
