My Framed Pincushion

Here's my framed pincushion I made for my swap partner Margaret, including some of the embellished stickpins (top right).
Couple of years ago I found these really cute picture frames at Michaels (I think they were a $1 each); but never did anything with them until now.
I also made this tag for Margaret, which is attached to a baggie filled with orange slices (candy).
Here are some of the other surprised gifts I added for Margaret.
...and of course I had to add one of my cards for her.

Ever since I made this pincushion, I have been working on others as well!
 Middle pincushion is from Margaret.
I'm even working on some teacup pincushions as well.  The teacup one I'm still working on it...I didn't like how it turned out.  Next time you see it, it will be totally different.  The little brass one I have given to my mom.
I think these pincushions are great to place next to your sewing machine, or on a dresser to place your stickpins in a pinch!

Have a wonderful day!!!
