Hubby's Quick Caprese Salad

Caprese salad appetizer made with home grown tomatoes and basil from Hubbie's garden.  He wanted to show off his delicious home grown tomatoes and basil off!
Hubbie whipped up this quick appetizer for family stopping by one Sunday afternoon!
He's handy in the kitchen...but not when it comes to keeping it clean 😉

Sliced home grown tomatoes

Sliced fresh Mozzarella cheese

Fresh Basil leaves

Arranged sliced tomatoes & Mozarella cheese slices on a plate.  Drizzle with olive oil & your favorite Balsamic Vinegar.  Salt & Pepper to taste, and top with fresh basil.

Our last of our home grown tomatoes.  I wonder if I have enough for Fried Green Tomatoes?
