Tablescape Thursday

Over the summer I had my sister and her son over for dinner. I took only these 2 pictures in hopes that I would participate in Susan's Tablescape Thursday, but didn't think these pictures worthy to share.

Being that it was in the middle of our very hot summer, I tried to set a very simple table setting. I used my Princess House glass dinner plates over my gold chargers.
I can see now how much more I could have done to make my tablescape "pop"!

Olivia, I think that looks like a very festive table, and I know your guests enjoyed it! I like your gold chargers and your glass plates. The candles make the gold glow, and I love the play of light on gold. I also like the placemats you chose. And fresh fruit always makes a good centerpiece. Thanks for sharing your table with us, and in turn I wish you a very Happy Tablescape Thursday Thanksgiving!

XO,

Sheila :-)
I think your table is gorgeous. I love that touch of gold via the plates. It's lovely.

Olivia - so much of a tablescape is the people you put around it. Whether or not you could add pop to it or not, is highly personal, but I happen to like the simplicity of this one! Great job! Thanks for sharing, and have a great day! Happy Holidays!
