September's Fresh Cut Friday

September is here and my garden is still blooming with summer flowers.
I took a flower here and some green there to fill my little spice container.
I fell in love with the idea of using an empty spice container and using it as a vase to make a little flower arrangement from Stacey at Poofing the Pillows
I tucked a Black Eyed Susan,
some phlox, a nasturtium flower and leaf, a tiny fern frond, verbena, and a geranium bloom.
Flowers always bring me a smile!

I am joining Fresh Cut Friday at Liz's Rose Vignettes. Please stop by to see her roses and other bloggers' fresh cuts.
Thank you for stopping by~

Oliva

Note: to avoid water seeping out of tin, I used a plastic sandwich baggie inside tin and added water.  Once filled with water, cut excess top of baggie to fit tin.

Aw, yours is pretty too!! Did you tin leak? Mine leaked after a few hours and I had to move my flowers to a jar. That's a good thing too though. :)

Happy Friday!!
How cute! I have used tea tins but never spice container, this is a great idea.
Olivia, I saw Stacy's too and it was love at first sight! Yours is just as beautiful as hers. I will be doing this some time too.
hugs,
