Welcome February

It was a busy week for me.  I continued to clean out the garage, and have 4 bins full of stuff to donate to Goodwill; which will be picked up this coming Tuesday.  Once all is picked up, I will feel accomplished!

I was surprised to find things I had completely forgotten about.  One particular thing I had missed and had no idea what I did with, was a box full of vintage linens, and was really super happy to have found! 

Besides organizing and cleaning, I started to add touches of pink throughout our home to welcome February.

 While cleaning my china cabinets, I came across this pretty little candy dish.  I love the delicate pink roses and it feels so feminine.

 I also found this rose floral arrangement in one of the stored bins.  It was a floral arrangement from my brother's and his wife's wedding reception.  I spruced it up a bit and added the pink glass beads inside the bowl.

Awww...sleeping beauty, Phoebe, taking a morning nap amongst some pinkish stuffed pillows!

 

Now for my next organization/cleaning project for the upcoming week is to sort my craft closet...it's a mess!!!
