Parties and Swaps
December has been such a busy, fun and interesting month!
Christmas parties, Bunco dinners, Girlz Christmas Dinners and get-togethers, Dirty Santa games, swaps, Church events, celebrations and more.
This year was my first Christmas party at Vivian's. Vivian hosts monthly stamping make & takes at her home, and for December she hosts a Christmas party for all of us stampers. Vivian made each of us a little paper bag filled with chocolate, a Christmas card and home made stamp cleaner! I just can't believe how pretty and sturdy the bag is! Thank you Vivian.
We visit with each other, make new friends or get to know each other a little bit more, eat delicious holiday food, have a fabulous time and play Dirty Santa!
We all bring a handmade gift to exchange, and let me tell you...these Ladies are just way too talented!!!
From gorgeous handmade wreaths,
to chocolate truffles, to quilted place mats and table runner, and...
to one super talented Lady making this amazing Mason Jar wood box all decorated for Christmas...she did the carpentry all by herself!!! This wood box can be changed/decorated according to holidays or seasons. Unfortunately sad, it was immediately taken away from me.
I was super impressed by all, and now I'm planning to make something super spectacular for next year!
Besides being a social butterfly, I still had to finish one last swap before the end of December!!!

These hexie flower petals are on their way to England for Celine. I visited her blog and I was simply amazed at her quilting talent!!!
Celine was my partner for the month of December. We both participate in The Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap. She prefers greys, tone-on-tone or stone/marble like fabrics. I can't wait to see what she creates with these hexies.
Hubby and I celebrate the coming of the New Year at home...relaxing & chilling out!
What are your plans?
Stay safe!
