Christmas Day

On Christmas Day, Hubby and I celebrated Christmas at home.  My Sister and her son's family celebrated with us as well.

I didn't decorate much this year for Christmas.  I was lucky enough to be able to put up the tree, add a few other Christmas decorations in the dining/living room and that was it!!!
I took this picture of our improvised little Nativity scene a day before Christmas.  Baby Jesus doesn't come out until Christmas Day!
A very blurry picture of our Christmas Tree.
After dinner, Hubby prepared our main dessert.  He let of us bruleed our own custard.
My sister brought a super delicious apple pie from Cracker Barrel.  Macaroons and Red Velvet Cake were very good too.
It was such a pleasant day celebrating Christmas together as a family!
The above and below pictures show you the completed tiled floor done over a month ago.
We love it!!!  It makes this area of the house more open and bigger.

Today I will clean house, do laundry and maybe I'll have some time to work on some card making!

  1. Pretty tree, love the new floor, WANT the desserts and I'm making some cards today too!
I should be doing other things, LOL!! You should see all the pretty snow!

  2. Hola amiga querida !! Espero que hayas tenido una bonita noche buena con tus seres queridos y este 2016 que recién comienza te depare muchas bendiciones

  3. A beautiful celebration! Your home and new floors are so lovely. Creme brulee' is one of my favorites. Hope you have a lovely New Year! xo Karen

  4. So sorry you weren't feeling well enough to decorate more, but the nativity is the main thing right... and your tree is just Beautiful!! The floors turned out so nice, I bet you were glad to have them done, so special to have had family to celebrate with. Hope you were able to get some card making in :)

  5. I like your floor too! Did you get my card? I hope so! Looks like you had a very nice Christmas.
