Tablescape Thursday
Susan from Between Naps on the Porch hosts Tablescape Thursdays. I can't wait for every Thursday to come around so I can take a peek at all of the fabulous tablescapes done by several of Susan's blogger followers. I finally have enough courage to give it a try all by lonesome self. So here it goes...
I set a table for two using one of my very first garage sale finds several years ago. I was so lucky to find a 5-piece set for 4 by Johnson Brothers called Staffordshire Bouquet for $20. Ever since then I've added pieces with help from my sister Veronica, for example a creamer & sugar set that she gave me for a birthday. I now have a complete set for 8, and I'm always on the lookout for more serving pieces.
The Pilgrims are from Joann's. I find them so adorable and not so prim and proper dressed in their usual boring colors.
The cute S&P shakers are from Cracker Barrel one of my very favorite stores.
Over the summer I went to a nearby mall where several shops sell items to raise funds for several charities. At one of these stores I found a set of 6 linen (and lace) napkins for $2.50.
The set of 3 autumn tea lights are a gift from my sister-in-law Carla. She gave these to me a couple of years ago for my birthday. My birthday usually falls on Thanksgiving Day or...before...or after.

Boy lots of pretty pictures. Love the fall colors.
I see you love stamping. Maybe you could tell me what is the best ink pads to buy. And do you buy lots of colors? I have bought a few in the past but I never fell like they print right. I have about two thousand stamps, well you know, alot! but have never been sure about the ink part.
