On Going Project...

While visiting Nancy Jo's blog, and reading this post, it reminded me of my on going crotchet afghan.
This winter has been a good one for me so far. It has given me the opportunity to work with yarn, and keeping me warm at the same time.

Besides card making and scrap booking, I enjoy knitting and crotchet.  This afghan has been an on going project over the past several years.  I have crotchet one row at a time using a different color yarn from leftover projects such as baby blankets, afghans and sweaters I've made as gifts.
So...while I was watching the Grammy's on Sunday evening, I decided to add several more rows, but I found out that I need more yarn...See...that's why is taking me so long to make.
Thank you Nancy Jo for giving me the inspiration to continue to crotchet.

Hi Oliva, my name is Delisa I am 47 years old and live in Georgia. I love to knit and crochet too. You blanket is so beautiful! The colors are great. I also like to make scrap afghans and have been working on a large queen sized blanket made of hexagon shaped granny squares. It has a million different colors and is bordered in black. (well maybe not quite a million!) I have about a third of the squares sewn together. Each yarn is a remnant left over from another project and it is filled with many happy memories. You have a beautiful blog! I hope you have a lovely day. Delisa :)
