On Going Project...

While visiting Nancy Jo's blog, and reading this post, it reminded me of my on going crotchet afghan.
This winter has been a good one for me so far. It has given me the opportunity to work with yarn, and keeping me warm at the same time.

Besides card making and scrap booking, I enjoy knitting and crotchet.  This afghan has been an on going project over the past several years.  I have crotchet one row at a time using a different color yarn from leftover projects such as baby blankets, afghans and sweaters I've made as gifts.
So...while I was watching the Grammy's on Sunday evening, I decided to add several more rows, but I found out that I need more yarn...See...that's why is taking me so long to make.
Thank you Nancy Jo for giving me the inspiration to continue to crotchet.

  2. Hi Oliva, my name is Delisa I am 47 years old and live in Georgia. I love to knit and crochet too. You blanket is so beautiful! The colors are great. I also like to make scrap afghans and have been working on a large queen sized blanket made of hexagon shaped granny squares. It has a million different colors and is bordered in black. (well maybe not quite a million!) I have about a third of the squares sewn together. Each yarn is a remnant left over from another project and it is filled with many happy memories. You have a beautiful blog! I hope you have a lovely day. Delisa :)
