Vanity Table Project

Over the summer I worked on making a crochet edging for my late mother-in-law's vanity table.
I had never before done anything like this before.  I would work on it, and put it away when I got tired of it, and then I would take it out and start crocheting again in hopes I would be done eventually!!!
I found the pattern (picture #4) here.
I cut a piece of white fabric to fit the tabletop.
I then pinned the crochet edging all around it,
 and sewed by hand.
Once I was finished with the tablecloth,
I placed a piece of handmade paper on top of the tablecloth,
and then cut around it to fit the tabletop, and finally place the glass top and voila...DONE!
Now all I have to do is pretty up the top with bottles of perfumes and of course, a vanity table mirror!  Also, Hubby will be giving the table a second coat of paint.
I am so proud of myself, and I am just so very happy to have been able to finish it!!!
