Purple Heart

I just realised that for the last 2 tag challenges I used PURPLE making my tags and didn't have a problem using purple! I concentrated on putting a tag together and didn't worried too much about color! This week's challenge was to create a card using the color purple, and believe it or not I just went blank! Purple? OMG! It was like hearing the word "test"! I go totally blank when I hear the word test!
The color purple was chosen this week in honor of Michele, from Purple Onion Designs , who has joined Tag, You're It! for the week! Michele has also kindly donated some gorgeous stamps to give away to one of us lucky taggers. All we have to do to get a chance of winning is to create a Purple Tag! The winner will be chosen by Michele and announced next week.
Easy Peasy!
So far I've been very good about going through my recyclable box of scraps and $aving a tree! I used SU! Heart stamped in Lovely Lilac. I used 3 different color purple cardstock that complements each other, which were embossed with the Cuttlebug Perfectly Paisley embossing folder. I faux stitched around the tag with a white gel pen ~ Santa didn't bring my sewing machine this past Christmas ~ POUT! The tag that reads "Meant for each other." is from DejaViews 8x8 Paper & Punch-Out Tablet, given to me as a Christmas gift from Kristin, niece. Thank you Kristin!
Brads, square punches, DP from DejaViews, ribbon, string, yarn, Cuttlebug Perfectly Paisley embossing folder,
