Flower Pot Surprise

Saturday morning was cold and rainy and so beautiful to me! I decided to get out of the house and drive around in hopes to find a garage sale or an estate sale...but to my surprise there wasn't one!!!

I just couldn't go home empty handed, so I ended up at our local charity stores: Eve's Home, Lutheran thrift store, and others...and wasn't sorry I did!!!

I found this glass cloche for a $1. At first I had no idea how I would use it, but remembered all of those great vignettes arranged by the awesome bloggers who participated in Marty's cloche party.

When I got home with my new find, I searched high and low for something that would go with my new cloche.
I've been collecting Charming Tails figurines for almost 10 years now. I found one that fit perfectly to display. This one is called Flower Pot Surprise. I grouped it together with this candle holder from one of Avon's specials from several years ago. It actually plays soothing nature sounds. My favorite is ocean waves.

I'm learning to see things in a very different way now.

The doily was a gift from my mother-in-law. I wish I knew where she acquired it from...
