Table Top Tuesday

I couldn't wait for today to share with you my second table top!!! This is one of my most favorite collectibles - milk glass!

...and to think it all started out with one small little purchase in St. Paul, MN, several years ago.
What attracted me to it was the translucent
milky glass.

On the second shelf of this unit, I display some of my favorite pieces of milk glass that I have been lucky enough to come across.

I filled the plates/dishes with Hubby's collection of seashells from Rocky Point Mexico (Puerto Peñasco on the Gulf of CA).

The cookie jar was a great find at a garage sale many years ago. I had not seen one like it before. Unfortunately, Hubby dropped something heavy on it, and cracked the top (it has a hairline cut on the lid).

I been expanding my collection by trying to look out for unique pieces. As a matter of fact, on Saturday morning I stopped a neighbor's garage sale, and as I was reaching for this candle light votive this "lady" reached for it as I was going for it!!! I couldn't believe my eyes...how rude...but I have learn my lesson! From now on I will go for the kill...LOL!

Milkglass and shells, what a perfect combination. I love all of your pieces and you have arranged such a lovely vignette. Beautiful. Thanks so much for joining the party. Hugs, Marty
What a great collection you have! I love milkglass - it really is so pretty!

I wish you lived close by. My Goodwill had a beautiful huge bakersrack last week!

I may do a tutorial for the coffee filter wreath as a lot of people have asked!

Oh what pretty milk glass you have. I don't know how I've managed to not start a collection, because it's so pretty (I guess you just can't have EVERYTHING). You'll have to practice your quick grabbing for next time!
Love all your milk glass! Beautiful collection!
