Summer Garden Deck

Today I'm sharing my sister-in-law's very pretty summer deck.  Jan has a really good eye for decor and gardening.  I love visiting her lovely home.

~sigh~
The red chairs and pillows are new this year.  Jan's taste is clean, bold and uncluttered.

I can't believe how huge and lush this gorgeous basket is.

I can easily sit here and spend the day away doing absolutely nothing, but enjoying the lush green beauty of Jan's backyard.

This flower box used to be a favorite nest for a Mama Duck  and her ducklings for many years.  She didn't show up this year though.  :-(

Zinnias in full bloom!
I just love zinnias.  They're so hardy and colorful!
This is a reminder to myself to fly back to MN the first of May.  This year I got here way too late for gardening; and my garden shows it.

"The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let dead things go."

My favorite color! Her deck is beautiful. I can see why it is relaxing to sit there. Have a great holiday weekend!

It sure is beautiful. My deck is awful. My husband has left the cooler outside and it is filthy now. The cover and mat for the grill needs replacing, and the weeds are out of control this year. I would rather sit on someone else's deck!
