Silhouettes

I learned a new technique called Silhouettes. There are different ways to create the silhouette look.
What I did was use a background stamp inked in Cool Caribbean stamped onto the white card stock. Then I stamped the same background image onto similar ink card stock and then I ran it through the Big Shots using a butterfly die cut. I cut 2 big butterflies, and I glued them at the center. Then I ran a pearl stick pin through it, and then glued it onto the background.
It gives it a 3-D effect.
I used foam tape to adhere the square silhouette image onto the card, and used twine to embellish the card.

This is simply stunning. Love the 3D effect & would never have thought to stamp the same image on the paper & cut the butterfly out.
Wonderful idea.
Hugs, Janie
