Pocket Letter Pals Intro
I have been introduced to Pocket Letters by Deb over at Garage Sale Gal!
Needless to say I'm hooked and have already mailed out my very first PL.
After my much research and getting to really understand the whole concept of a Pocket Letter, I felt comfortable enough to mail one out!
I think the hardest part for me was to actually sit down and write the letter introducing myself...silly but I did it!
The Pocket Letter Swap I signed up for was called Paris in Browns & Creams and it was fun to create for my swap partner.
I'm currently ready to mail out one to my German Pen Pal. We have decided to mail one out to each other once a month. I'm very excited in getting to know her.
Basically a Pocket Letter is:
- You create 9 ATC's (3 1/2" x 2 1/2" each) and place inside a baseball card holder
- On the back of ATC page you include a letter, a tag with about 5 questions for your Pen Pal to answer and get to know her/him; a little list about you (hobby, likes/dislikes); a quote; and a tea bag or other treat
- Also, you may include little bits of ephemera, stickers, lace, twine, paper clips, card candy, etc...
To learn more about Pocket Letters you may go to Janette Lane's Pocket Letter Guide.
BTW...Deb is hosting a Fall Theme Pocket Letter Swap...
Have a wonderful day!!!

This is a wonderful and very informative post, which I needed.:-)
I'm looking forward to Deb's exchange though I had never heard of such a thing. This post has helped me to better understand what I am to do.
I love your idea of you and a friend exchanging one every month. How fun that will be!
Bless you ~ Debbie
Cool that you have a pocket penpal!
Nice weather today. Doggies will get a walk tonight.
