Summer Roses

 Our first MN roses of the summer!
 I'm so glad it survived winter!

 At first I couldn't decide where to place the roses...on the mantle or...
...back to the corner hutch it was!
This is how big the rose bush has gotten so far.
I am hoping for more blooming roses for the rest of our summer here.

So pretty :) All my blogger friends are posting pics of their glorious rose blooms - I REALLY must plant some roses too I think! Growing up my Dad had a rose garden & he won some pewter cups in the Annual Rose Competition...we used to play in the garden & curtsy to his Queen Elizabeth bush & bow to Mr. Lincoln...I have so many memories of those times with my older sister & our neighbor friend :)
