More Machine Sewing Practice

I have been feeling very confident now using the old sewing machine!

Straight stitches are now straighter...LOL!

 One of my chores on my To Do List is to make simple pocket pillow covers for most of our throw pillows in the house. 
So far I have made the first one of many!

 It was so easy and fast to make.  I even surprised myself!

 This pillow cover is hiding a hideous canary yellow pillow that is so bright...think Tweety Bird!

I love the soft colors of the fabric, and I feel that it goes so well in our rustic dining room.

I have leftover fabric that I'm using to make a table runner with it.  I just hope this project goes as easy as this one!
